Yes, I am.
I suddenly realised that I haven't been blogging here since before Christmas. Sorry about that. But then again, not too much has happened either. Christmas, of course. And New Year's. And I've gotten a couple of new games and movies and sh*t. Well, not sh*t. Halo: CE Anniversary is not sh*t. Far from it. I love it. I love Master Chief.
This year will (hopefully) be a good year for costuming. I've decided to finish my custom Mando before Halloween. Only problem, for now, is that I don't know when I will receive money. Since I'm unemployed and go to the psychiatrist and group therapy sessions for my social anxiety, I must get money elsewhere. I've sent the papers. But I might not get a reply for another 6-7 weeks. And that's a looong time without money! Especially because I don't know if I'll get the money or not either. Sh*t, if I do not get the money, someone needs to die.
When I do get the money, however, I have some ideas where some of it is going:
- Gauntlets and girth belt for my Mando
- Master Chief helmet (just because I'm a total geek and I need it)
- Paints and bondo for my Mando helmet and blaster
- Cardboard, masking tape, bondo and paints for my Mando armour (I've figured out a way to make the parts I need)
And I have someone who's making me toe spikes, knee armour and shoulder bells for free!
I so hope I get money soon...
I want to start working on my Mando.
For real.

2 new piercings, 1 new game
And I hereby promise that the rest of my money will be spent on Christmas gifts to others, not myself. I swear!

My two new piercings are the two on the top of my ear, btw. I've been wanting to do it for years, but never gotten around to do it. Now I did. Yay, me!
(Please ignore the rest of me. I just got inside from the wet and cold outdoors, and I didn't bother with fixing up for one lousy photo of my new piercings. So yeah... Look at the piercings! Ignore the rest.)

Been wanting it ever since it got out, but once again... I never got around to buy it. Last Christmas gift for myself, I swear! Now I'll just wish for Halo: CE Anniversary and The Old Republic for Christmas.
Oh, boyfriend ~ <3
And that was today's update.
Now I'll be eating some food and watching a couple more episode of Prison Break.
I love that show. Pure genius.
Signing out!

Ah, Hell no...
What the bloody Hell happened!?
F*** you, King Winter.
I hate you so much.
Where's this global warming everyone's talking about?
Huh? HUH?
Bah...
Oh well. Have to get ready for a new group therapy session anyway. I guess my hatred for snow isn't enough of an excuse to stay home. Upside is that we've been invited upstairs to the lady we rent our apartment from this evening. Pizza-time. One less meal for us to make. Free food, yay!

The Vet and The n00b
Yeah, I suck at blogging. I've been around a lot lately, so I haven't bothered to find time for the blog. Oh well. I'll try to blog a bit these next couple of days, because you won't see me for a while after the 8th.
Why not?
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3, of course!
Only three days left!
OMFG!
*addpsychofangirlsquealhere*
Aaand yeah... I love that they have Sam Worthington in that trailer, btw. I just love that guy. And his voice. He's awesome as Mason in Black Ops. Kind of cool, though... I just got home from the store where I bought a new DVD. Clash of the Titans. With Sam Worthington. Coincidence?
Anyway, now I'm going to enjoy a slice of home made pizza, salty chips, Cola Zero, the new episode of Supernatural and maybe I'll watch Clash of the Titans too. Sam Worthington AND Liam Neeson ftw <3

Spending money...
... that I don't really have. Seriously, I have to get better with the money. I have bills that I should pay, I have parts for my Boba Fett/Custom Mando that I should pay and still I'm ordering things online...
Well. My last order isn't coming out until November, so at least I'll have some time to save money for that one. You see, I just pre-ordered Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 Hardened Edition. I just had to. With it, I get a full year's membership on Call of Duty Elite, Founder status on Elite (which gives me all kinds of special stuff on multiplayer) and a bunch of other cool things. I can't help it. I am so psyched for this game, I think I'm going to die before it comes out. I watched the singleplayer trailer some days ago, and I was in heaven. But there are still two things I haven't gotten an answer to yet. About the campaign. I want to know now. I can't wait for the game. Damnit.
So if anyone would be interested in buying the regular version of Modern Warfare 3, let me know. Because I pre-ordered that some months ago from the store my fiancé works. And I got a free t-shirt when I did it.
Oh, money. I wish I had them. Or at least knew how to spend them more wisely.

New books, new DVD
I am sooo happy! Three new books and a DVD dropped into my mail today, and the DVD is currently running across the screen as I write. I simply couldn't wait. I've been looking for this DVD for years, and now it's finally out! Yes, of course, I'm talking about The Lion King. It has to be one of Disney's best movies ever!
So yeah, new DVD: Disney's The Lion King Diamond Edition <3
New books: Dracula by Bram Stoker, The Call of Chtulhu and Other Dark Tales by H. P. Lovecraft and The Hobbit by J. R. R. Tolkien.
Now if you'll excuse me, I'll enjoy the beauty that is The Lion King. With music by Hans Zimmer. F*** yeah!

Coming of Autumn
It's the 24th of September (been together with my fiancé 2 years and 2 months today, btw), and despite the sun, the weather is grey and cloudy. The Ice Queen and King Winter are surely making their way towards us, and I wouldn't be surprised if they had covered our country in snow in a month or so.
In the coming month, all I will do is prepare for the cold and the dark that they bring. I hate the winter. I hate the snow. I hate the cold. So I must prepare. I'll need a lot of candles. There's nothing like lightning a few candles in the darkness. Scented candles are a must, of course. I need more movies. More videogames. More books. Anything that can give me warmth and joy and take my mind away from the white, icy world outside. I need to prepare.
Some of my TV-shows are starting again. Grey's Anatomy has started its 8th season, and Supernatural its 7th.
In the coming months, my wallet will be empty because of new videogames. Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3, Battlefield 3 and The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, as well as the remake of the very first Halo, and Xbox 360 remakes of the three first games of Metal Gear Solid.
In my shelves there are a lot of books, many of them still unread, and even more on their way through the mail.
Perhaps I will survive this winter too.

My body craves more ink!
... and in a month, that craving will be fulfilled.
It has now been two months since I took my first tattoo. She said that there are few who plan their next tattoo while under the needle of their first one. I did. And today, I went to the local tattoo shop to ask for prices. There were two I considered, so I asked the prices on both of them.
Let's just say I went home with a big smile on my face and a card in my hand that says the date and time of my next appointment. October 6th, at 12:00. Yes!
And about the prices over there... They are so awesome. I won't be walking out of there with one new tattoo that day, but two! I'm getting both tattoos for the price I thought one of them would cost. Once again; YES!!
And the geek in me will stay with me forever.
In ink.
On my hip.
YES!!!
