3 new games

... and I'm in heaven.
I've only played one of them so far, but I'll try the second one tomorrow.
The PS2 game will have to wait until I get the proper cables and the proper TV....

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 - Hardened Edition
for Xbox 360.
Includes one year's membership on Call of Duty Elite with Founder status, a Juggernaut outfit for my Xbox Live avatar, collectable box and steelbox for the game disc and Cpt. John 'Soap' MacTavish's field journal.
Good stuff <3

The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim - Collector's Edition
for Xbox 360.
Includes a 'Behind the Scenes' DVD, a map of Skyrim, artbook and a statue of the dragon Alduin. The dragon is beautiful and much bigger than I anticipated, and absolutely worth the money. If you're a huge fan and a collector of geek items, that is.

Star Wars: Bounty Hunter
for Playstation 2.

Peace!

The mail that made my day!

I would post the mail here, but since it's in Norwegian, I doubt you'd understand it anyhow.

Anyway, to sum it up the mail was from an online store where I buy my games and DVDs and CDs and all of that stuff. So guess what the mail was about?

That's right.
They sent my copy of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 - Hardened Edition today.
I didn't think they'd send it until tomorrow.
But they sent it today.
They sent it today!
Which means I might get it tomorrow!!

Excited for this game? Me? Nooo, what makes you think that?
Seriously, though... I CAN'T WAIT!!!

Oh, also, my fiance works at this gaming store. And he made sure that they ordered in one Collector's Edition of The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, and he'll hold it for me. Because I've made very clear that I want exactly that version of the game. Just to get the dragon statue.

The Vet and The n00b

Yeah, I suck at blogging. I've been around a lot lately, so I haven't bothered to find time for the blog. Oh well. I'll try to blog a bit these next couple of days, because you won't see me for a while after the 8th.

Why not?
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3, of course!

Only three days left!
OMFG!
*addpsychofangirlsquealhere*

Aaand yeah... I love that they have Sam Worthington in that trailer, btw. I just love that guy. And his voice. He's awesome as Mason in Black Ops. Kind of cool, though... I just got home from the store where I bought a new DVD. Clash of the Titans. With Sam Worthington. Coincidence?

Anyway, now I'm going to enjoy a slice of home made pizza, salty chips, Cola Zero, the new episode of Supernatural and maybe I'll watch Clash of the Titans too. Sam Worthington AND Liam Neeson ftw <3

Project: Custom Mando

While I already have a Project: Boba Fett going on, I realise that it will cost me too much money over a longer period of time to finish it. Which is why I have also designed a custom Mandalorian (and a trooper - but we'll get to that when I have the money to buy a Clone Trooper helmet) and have decided to work on her for a while. I want my Boba Fett to be as screen accurate as possible (maybe even 501st acceptable), so it'll take too damn long. I need to have something else to work on in the meantime.

So today I received a package with UPS that included the first two items for my custom Mando. A Hasbro Boba Fett helmet and a Hasbro Boba Fett blaster. The two of them will be modified (at least the helmet - the blaster will most likely just be repainted) and painted in a different colour scheme.

I'm psyched and I can't wait to get some extra cash to be able to start fixing them up. More on this project will come later. Trust me.

Spending money...

... that I don't really have. Seriously, I have to get better with the money. I have bills that I should pay, I have parts for my Boba Fett/Custom Mando that I should pay and still I'm ordering things online...

Well. My last order isn't coming out until November, so at least I'll have some time to save money for that one. You see, I just pre-ordered Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 Hardened Edition. I just had to. With it, I get a full year's membership on Call of Duty Elite, Founder status on Elite (which gives me all kinds of special stuff on multiplayer) and a bunch of other cool things. I can't help it. I am so psyched for this game, I think I'm going to die before it comes out. I watched the singleplayer trailer some days ago, and I was in heaven. But there are still two things I haven't gotten an answer to yet. About the campaign. I want to know now. I can't wait for the game. Damnit.

So if anyone would be interested in buying the regular version of Modern Warfare 3, let me know. Because I pre-ordered that some months ago from the store my fiancé works. And I got a free t-shirt when I did it.

Oh, money. I wish I had them. Or at least knew how to spend them more wisely.

New tattoos!

And with the tattoos, the proof of how big of a geek I actually am becomes visible for the world to see. At least with one of them. Star Wars ftw!

Btw, I wouldn't recommend anyone to take a tattoo where I took the bantha skull. It f***ing hurt like hell!! I made it through, but goddamnit, seriously... I think I did a little trip to Hell during that tattoo. Not planning another on the stomach. Simply put.

I have to take a shower and wash the damn things soon. I'm not looking forward to it. Because they hurt now. While being in air. How will they feel with hot water running over them? *shudders*

Oh well. I have the bantha skull. Does that make me Mandalorian? =D

New books, new DVD

I am sooo happy! Three new books and a DVD dropped into my mail today, and the DVD is currently running across the screen as I write. I simply couldn't wait. I've been looking for this DVD for years, and now it's finally out! Yes, of course, I'm talking about The Lion King. It has to be one of Disney's best movies ever!

So yeah, new DVD: Disney's The Lion King Diamond Edition <3

New books: Dracula by Bram Stoker, The Call of Chtulhu and Other Dark Tales by H. P. Lovecraft and The Hobbit by J. R. R. Tolkien.

Now if you'll excuse me, I'll enjoy the beauty that is The Lion King. With music by Hans Zimmer. F*** yeah!
